The key focus of the role is to manage the implementation of Data Centre and Primary office setup for the new Securities business in China.  The focus of this role is manage the IT deliverables locally in Shanghai and to liaise with regional to align with the regional data centre, primary offices and application setup.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Management

？ Provided on-site physical and virtual support of technology infrastructure.

？ Co-ordinated server and network installation with collocation customers and led physical migrations during the scheduled maintenance windows

？ Verified that projects and tasks performed by other data center technicians met company standards

？Managed infrastructure projects assigned to the data center team by making sure that new server racks were properly cabled and PDUs installed, adhering to company standards

？Worked with vendors and partners. Vendors included cage build techs as well as cabling contractors. Partners included carrier reps installing facilities in provided spaces. Monitored parts of the facility on a rounds schedule 4 times per shift.

？ Experience in the IT industry with a strong background in IT Infrastructure and knowledge of application development

？ Good understanding of IT knowledge; 

？ Good coordination skills with know how in defining an action plan and in progress follow-up;

？ Being organized and meticulous;

？ Ability to mobilize and manage virtual team members.

Specific Qualifications Required

SKILLS

？ At least 5-10 years experiences in Datacentre implementation and setup;

？ Good coordination and inter-personal skills;

？ Writes clearly and informatively with a high level of sophistication;

？ Good experience of presentation to regional level management; 

？ Fluency in Mandarin and English is a must. Ability to read Chinese and English is a must.

？ Capable of adapting to a new environment and to work under pressure towards tight deadlines.
