The theatre and *** Technician Team Lead provides audio-visual support to events in the school theatres, conference venues and outdoor areas.  This position is the Lead position for all things Theatre/*** and takes responsibility for maintaining documentation for theatre equipment and keeps track of all parts necessary for the operation of the theatres.  This position may be required to work a flex schedule.

• Lead technician for the theatre
• Lead technician for the Black Box theatre system
• Maintains the theatre audio system
• Maintains the theatre video projection system
• Maintains the theatre lighting system
• Maintains the tv studio Tricaster system
• Provides audio, video and sound support for concerts, plays, speeches and assemblies
• Assists with outdoor and other venue *** setups
• Assists with Photoshop/InDesign issues within the ICT helpdesk
• Performs weekly tests of equipment in theatres and logs information for status tracking.
• Recommends updates/replacement of hardware and software systems in the theatre and tv studio
• Provides support for media server

• Main point of contact for all things Theater/***
• Works with IT Manager to schedule coverage for all events
• Works with IT Manager to provide leadership to other Theatre/*** technicians
• Maintains hardware and parts inventory sheet for DCS theatre and Black Box theatre
• Maintains spare parts and bulbs for DCS theatre
• Communicates with teachers, students and artists to provide accurate event systems checklist
• Cooperates with Music and Drama departments to keep audio, video, lighting and other theatre equipment functioning.
