This role is a key and high profile role in the finance team who is responsible for:

·        Conduct store compliance audit with team to ensure stores follow up company policies and implemented as required

·        Responsible for store loss prevention function, develop mechanism, implement procedures and deliver results

·        Provide control improvement training and recommendation to be store operation team when needed.

1.       Play an active role to promote best practices, procedures and standardization at store level which include but not limited to provide training to store operation team to enhance the awareness of risk management knowledge, internal control requirement, related rules and regulations for a better and effective control environment.

2.       Drew up ‘store policy’ and review for any required updates on an annual basis and reissue where changes have been made.

3.       Minimise cash and stock losses to the Costa business via data analysis, covert store visits, CCTV review and investigative store visits.

4.       Assist on improving organizational efficiency and operating environment by performing regular business processes evaluation and polices optimization

5.       Take the lead of periodic review/audit on store loss prevention, develop mechanism, implement procedures and deliver report

6.       Support on periodically review new business practice and operation model at store level and develop audit procedures to reflect the new practice.

7.       Prepare monthly IA report for management review and regularly audit results report to UK.

8.       Lead team to complete audit plan as scheduled

9.       Other tasks as assigned (like assist IA Manager to conduct quarterly corporate office finance audit and submission to UK headquarter and follow up correction action of ineffective control points within due date)

a)    Able to work independently with store operation team and HRBP team and response to all queries from group/Coke audit team

b)    Pro-active approach in identifying risks and control weakness, able to initiate proper action plan

c)    Effective communication across business functions to implement control procedures

d)    Be skilful in problem solving

e) Show ownership in audit and loss prevention related function area

The Costa Coffee story began back in 1971, when two Italian brothers – Sergio and Bruno – arrived in London with a burning desire to make great tasting coffee a part of everyday life. In 1981 they opened the first coffee shop in the heart of London, from here the Costa family continued to expand across London, the UK and eventually the globe.
