JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:

  

The Sourcing Specialist will report to the Head of Procurement Department in the Heidelberg Graphic Equipment (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., work closely and cooperate with Heidelberg Headquarter to roll out global sourcing strategy for printing consumables, main responsibilities include but not limit to:

    

• Developing and implementing sourcing strategies for the Chinese market

• Analysis of procurement markets in China of Consumables manufacturers

• Observing the development of new manufacturers and new technologies in China

• Evaluation and support of existing and potential suppliers

• Identifying China-made manufacturers/products on request

• Negotiation and agreements of frame and purchasing contracts

• Management of quality assurance and logistics

    

  

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    

• Bachelor's degree (technical background preferred)

• Minimum of three years’ work experience (graphic arts industry preferred)

• Experience in sourcing or procurement

• English fluent in written and spoken, German is a plus

• Competent ERP systems knowledge (SAP preferred)

• Excellent teamwork skills and proven ability to work in a cross-functional team

• Willingness to travel at least 15% of the time
