Report to: Accounting Supervisor

Job Descriptions

Overall, this position is responsible for SEA (South East Asia) Companies (Australia & Malaysia) daily accounting/finance transactions (50% time allocated). In the meantime, he/she is to share the workload from China team (50% time allocated).

SEA Countries

1. Daily banking transactions handling, such as e-banking, payment to suppliers/employee. Make sure the transactions in e-banking is done and maintain the cash transactions in excel book.
2. Follow up and record the account receivables transactions. Prepare the AR aging report, remind and trace the customers for invoices payment.
3. Punctual payment to major expense (such as rental, freight supplier, intercompany payments, royalty fee, etc.)
4. Make sure all the cost/expenses (product cost, import cost, shipping cost, personnel expense, etc.) are booked in the current period.
5. Make proper accrual and review the balance sheet monthly.
6. Communicate with local tax consultant (accounting firm, legal/secretory company) to ensure the compliance of local taxation/accounting/legal request.
7. Work with local accounting firm to complete the local audit request and audit report.
8. Record the inventory movement and ensure the inventory accuracy.
9. Prepare the budget, perform the actual vs. budget comparison, rolling forecast.
10. Work closely with Malaysian supplier to record accurate inventory movement and materials consumptions, to reduce the inventory/materials scrap rate.

Support to China

1. Project accounting (tooling spending, tracing, update), work with PM/purchasing/commercial team to make sure the spending and invoice is on track, lead and remind relative party to follow up.
2. CAPEX budget review and transactions maintenance in Oracle, transfer CIP into Fixed Assets punctually when status is updated.
3. Other tasks assigned by accounting supervisor

Requirement

1. BA degree, major in accounting / finance.
2. 10 years working experience in accounting (manufacturing/costing is a plus).
3. Good communication skill, patient, detailed, team player.
4. Be able to work smoothly and efficiently with other colleague among different departments.
5. Fluent English (listening, speaking, writing). – Needs frequent communication with Australia and Malaysian colleague/suppliers/customers.
6. Solid accounting knowledge.
7. Good Excel skill.
8. Be result oriented.
9. Experience of being ERP system (Oracle) key user is an advance
