We are seeking a highly motivated, creative and innovative Mechanical Engineer with demonstrated experience working with commercial product development. You will be able to formulate the necessary analysis and perform the calculations to evaluate and recommend the optimum solution. Excellent project management skills are required with proven experience developing and launching multiple new products.  Cost reduction through value engineering of existing products is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

1. Participate in pre-sales technical support work of the project; Cooperate with the project manager to deal with technical problems during the project (including after sales);
2. Completed the mechanical design tasks of the project on time and according to the quantity, including designing part drawing, assembly drawing, making BOM and assembly operation instruction;
3. Provide technical support for mechanical problems in the assembly and commissioning of production equipment;
4. Collaborate with PM, suppliers, sourcing and QC to assure engineering quality within the defined targets
5. Analyze root cause for product or production issue, work out and validate the solution, conduct the solution verification
6. Create 3D model of the part, define specification to reach the function, assembly, quality requirement.
7. Responsible for mechanical design changes in each link to ensure the accuracy of design data;
8. Improve technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree of Science Mechanical Engineering, industrial design, mechanical manufacturing and Mechatronics and electromechanical designs or other professional background
• At least 5 working experiences of 3D part and assembly modeling, design of mechanisms
• 3-5 working experiences of Autodesk Inventor modeling & FEA
• Complex structure modeling and design with stack up analysis and DFM principles for DFA/DFM and production machine and tool design
• Finite Element analysis, testing, and modeling
• Part design and material evaluation applicability to new designs
• FMEA, Pareto Principle, and Value Analysis/Value Engineering practice in design work
• Proven ability to estimate project tasks and meet project schedules
• Product Lifecycle Management Exposure (EOL, Change Management, Quality System, PLS, BOM, Sourcing, VA/VE)
• Familiar with production and raw material process, product quality requirement and machine precision/process error.
• Have rich knowledge of raw materials, and choose suitable raw materials according to customer requirements (especially wood, metal, glass, acrylic, etc.)
• Skilled computer skills, skilled in using Inventor software
• Be proactive and willing to accept challenges.
• Good verbal and written English
