Job Description

For the Sea Freight Business Development position, we are looking for a candidate who will:

    

·        Solve the more significant problems of Ocean Operation to improve overall results and standards, tackle daily operation problems and complaints.

    

·        Factor in the broader impact on customers (internal or external), suppliers and others when making significant decisions.

    

·        Target and develop a collaborative, customer first culture by managing group behavior and helping individuals to modify their own behavior. Lead Operation team to put the customer first and enhance collaboration with sales department.

    

·        Keep good relationship and close communication with carriers for better space support and monitor space usage to maximize our profit

    

·        Manage suppliers to reduce operation cost on trucking and warehousing, evaluate subcontractors’ service and quotation to minimize handling cost.

    

·        Gather all possible solution and value-added service locally to offer diverse service to the customers

    

·        Strive for more support from IT, Accounting, Procurement team, Global Ocean, BPO to improve work efficiency, productivity and performance at Shenzhen.

    

·        Work closely with GSC and Global Solution team to serve VIP accounts, launch the service of new clients locally, review & implement SOP with OP teams and maintain the relationship with key customers.

    

·        Add organization in CW1, reverse invoice/ payment wrongly issued.

    

·        Implement global project for Sea Freight product via Shanghai,

    

    

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

    

·        Ability to monitor compliance with Company goals/procedures

    

·        Good problem-solving skills, good communication skill, motivation, ability to prioritize tasks, delegation and selection

    

·        Working knowledge of Freight Forwarding practices

    

·        Good command of written and spoken English

    

·        Sea Freight market awareness and transport options knowledge

    

·        Capability to handle day-to-day duties and knowledge

In scope of expanding our business functions, our primary goal is to develop and increase our overseas sea freight volume using our Turkey head office power and extensive agency network.
