Beconnected is looking for someone in Shanghai who can further strengthen our global design team. Someone who likes to be creative for our designs.

Key Responsibilities

？ Design of commercial articles for a big range of different customers, both Private Label as License;

？ Design of articles as swimwear, underwear, socks, day/nightwear, pyjamas:

？ Design with the help of License style guides & the trends in the market to make a seasonal collections;

？ Designing own graphics, from placement prints to all over prints and repeats etc;

？ Design of All Over Prints;

？ Design packing & labeling;

？ Produce detailed technical sketches for factories;

？ Working closely with the team, follow, make trend/mood boards;

？ Trend and market research by blogs, search webshops, shopping etc to have a commercial up to date touch;

Key Requirements:

？ CAD skills with a good knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop, 3D design;

？ Highly organized and capable of working to and managing deadlines;

？ Self-motivated and possess initiative;

？ Ability to work as part of a team even though the workplace is not the same;

？ Passion for Fashion Design;

？ Good in English;

？ Someone with good social skills;

？ Good product knowledge on all kinds of garment products;

？ Able to communicate efficiency both written and verbal English.

Beconnected China is a Shanghai based trading company with European management.
We are part of the Erve group, a company started in Belgium 30 years ago, who has over 50 license and sells garments to the major retailer in the market. Beconnected has 4 offices in India, Bangladesh, China and Ethiopia. We are a trading and sourcing office. We also have our company Beconnected Industrial, a label and print factory in Ethiopia. We offer professional know how of sourcing, buying and producing in the Far East & Africa. The Shanghai office is handling the sales for Europe and production in Asia and will look where orders can be produced the best.
In Shanghai we are located since 2008 and we have a team of 30 people.
