Purpose of the job:

As a member of the Material Planning and Scheduling team, Detail Production Scheduler (DPS) responsible of managing the short term (about 6 months) demand supply balance. Arrange the monthly/weekly production scheduling to meet the demand and business needs. Support Master Scheduler on long term supply planning. This role is accountable to communicate all changes impact on Master Scheduler, Purchasing, Internal /external manufacture team, Quality, Demand, Customer service, commercial tea, etc.

Key Responsibilities/Expectations/Goals:

• Monthly Demand & Planning balance in planning tool focus on short term or in season ( about 6 months)
• Manage the planning and procurement of raw materials from 3rd party suppliers and/or inter-company supplied materials, to ensure all materials meet the production schedule and materials inventory strategy.
• Ensures daily, weekly, and monthly activities are operating as per the Production Scheduling work process:
• Entering and tracking purchase orders that are imported by working with Supplier(s), ITO Specialist(s), and Customs Broker(s), as well as trucking and storage facilities/ suppliers
• Management of material purchase orders needing to be repacked prior to being delivered to the production facility.
• Work with manufacturing site (internal/ external) on production Scheduling (weekly bases) with consideration of all the constraints in the site level, like planned shutdown, capacity limited
• Work with Quality team to understand the quality issues if happened, adjust the detail production plan and communicate with key functions like Master Scheduler, Product Manager, CSR, etc.
• Monthly stock taking validation in EM site.
• Review MRP exception messages within the planning time fence and resolve or escalate supply/demand imbalances as appropriate
• Work with Master Scheduler to execute Raw material and finish products inventory strategies and identify Lean opportunities within portfolio. 
•  Manages and tracks supplier/vendor performance as needed.  Follow QM process to enter and respond to quality messages in system to resolve supplier performance related issues.
• Manage Material Master Data in ERP for finish products, raw materials and packaging components to ensure realistic generation of requisitions in ERP.
• Participates some Modify & Improve Supply Chain (M&ISC) projects as the DPS representative and leads some M&ISC projects like adding new package size, sourcing change, etc.

Education / Certification Requirements:

-       BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, business, or technical field

-       Excellent verbal & written English

-       Knowledge of SAP with overall 3-5 Yrs of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations, Purchasing, International Trading Operations, SAP or database management is preferred

-       Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.

-       Ability to take initiative and work effectively both independently and on teams.

-       Ability to work effectively in a cross functional and cross regional environment.
