As Engineering Manager, you will direct and coordinate the efforts of the multi-disciplined engineering staff to support an aggressive sales and production plan. You will report to, and work closely with the Operations Manager of the Taicang factory and will develop strong links with counterparts in Canada Headquarters.

To complement your strong engineering background, you will immerse yourself in a series of projects designed to quickly advance your knowledge of the CNG and LNG market and our tailored solutions. On this firm foundation you will undertake a major initiative to formalize the engineering process by mapping out a set of standard specifications and defining an effective workflow to capture and fulfill custom requirements. Your ability to plan and execute projects will be put to the test as you juggle demands from multiple departments including, sales, production, and aftermarket service.

Strong data collection and analysis skills, combined with your track record of improving workflow efficiencies and adopting best practices, will give you an edge at developing and managing by KPIs designed to consistently increase engineering throughput while maintaining quality. In addition key initiatives include:
? Develop product lifecycle management methods for product design.
? Develop document and product change management control in coordination with Canada headquarters
? Direct, review, and approve product design and changes.
? Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department.
? Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
? Provide technical oversight and coordination of project engineering work.
? Monitor progress against project schedules and budgets; recommend allocation of resources as required to accomplish goals.
? Perform work in accordance with IMW documented policies and procedures
? Complete all applicable quality records
? The ideal candidate will be able to communicate fluently, both in writing and verbally, in English and Mandarin.
