Role:  Commercial Director - Brand Addition Shanghai 

Reporting into the Managing Director Asia 

To represent the site on the senior management team in Asia.  

To lead the site work closely with other offices in Brand Addition Group and our Asia Partner network to deliver sales and purchasing solutions that meets the needs of the overall business.

Responsibility

Overall responsibility for the sales, procurement and profitability of the BA operations in Asia

？ P&L budgeting and monthly reporting

？ Setting targets in line with group goals

？ Participate in determining site strategy

？ Point of escalation 

？ Contract reviews for top management approval 

Key Accountabilities 

？ Responsible for full P&L for Shanghai operation.  Revenue and profit generation from direct sales in Shanghai and via partners in Asia 

？ Budgetary control to maximise profit and ensure income and expenditure are effectively managed to achieve or exceed site turnover and EBITDA targets.

？ Working closely with our Global Account Directors to successfully implement and manage existing clients in this region which will include sales strategy, customer service, administration, buying and logistics management.

？ Maintaining business relationship with external stakeholder and local officials. 

？ To manage, motivate and develop the team ensuring they deliver a value-added service that contributes to business profitability.

？ Monitor, review and control the use of resources to ensure expenditure is controlled within the budget throughout the year.

？ Responsibility for on-site Health and Safety.

To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience

？ Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline 

？ 10 years management experience in multinational company preferrable in similar business sector or FMCG, wide experience in accounting for PRC commercial 

？ Familiar with PRC GAAP is a plus. 

？ Acts with the highest level of integrity and protecting both clients’ and BA’s interest. 

？ Must have the ability to drive and deliver change.

？ Must demonstrate a positive, dynamic, and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of the business.

？ Must show initiative and sound commercial oversight.

？ Must have the ability to work as part of a team to across BA international sites to achieve common goals.
