Role:  Inventory Planner  

Reporting to:  Operation Manager  

Key Accountabilities 

? Managing Inventory for the company to ensure high availability of stock at the optimum stock turn and capital investment agreed with Finance Team in Shanghai and Manchester offices.  

? Act as an ongoing gatekeeper of margin for stock sales and responsible for margin analysis for stock programmes. 

? Providing account managers and the management with weekly stock reports, monthly aged stock update to identify slow-movers, work with the teams on mitigating aged stock. 

? Have a good understanding of the company products and supply routes in order to place repeat orders for stock programme. 

? Managing 3rd party warehouse on stock levels; weekly, monthly and yearly stock check and audit.

? Take part in new stock product ranges development to ensure correct level of order volumes, investment and products are appropriate with the accounts.    

? Monitoring the content on the merchandise webstores to ensure correct information for the products.

? This is a role require good communication with Sales, Purchasing and Finance teams.   

To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience

? Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline 

? 3 years experience as stock controller in multinational company preferrable in similar business sector or FMCG

? Proficiency in inventory management software.

? In-dept knowledge of inventory management principles and best practice, extensive experience in supply chain data analysis.    

? Strong collaboration and communication abilities with internal teams across sites.
