The mission of the Planning & Fulfillment function is to support profitable growth by ensuring the accurate tactical planning of our demand and our operations, optimizing inventory and resource management and the perfect fulfillment of customers’ orders. This mission is achieved by balancing and improving five metrics: customer on-time delivery, inventory, lead-time, forecast accuracy and resource optimization.

As a Demand Planner, you will be reporting to Demand Planner Team Leader in Business Area – Motion, Motors & Generators located in Shanghai, China.

- Production schedule creation - Translating order forecast, incoming volumes into a production plan with a time-phased schedule. Ensuring the accurate tactical planning of demand and operations, optimizing inventory and resource management to fulfill customers’ orders. Calculating production lead time. Managing load leveling and bottleneck scheduling.
- Collaborating with stakeholders - working with commercial team to provide appropriate delivery dates; working with Material management to convert supply plan to production schedule; working with Sales team on S&OP process; providing input into S&OP and short term planning process; providing feedback regarding plan feasibility; engaging in capacity management, materials requirements planning and production activity control
- Planning parameters - Maintaining planning parameters in ERP and planning systems.
- Continuous improvement – working on end-to-end process optimization; working on balance and continuous improvement on customer on-time delivery, inventory, lead time, forecast accuracy and resource optimization

- Bachelor or above, major in Business management, Engineering related.
- Minimum 5+ years working experience of planning, purchasing or material management for manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and manage effective communication across all functions.
- Fluent both in Mandarin & English (oral and written).
- Microsoft office, ERP (SAP preferred).
- Must be motivational, organizing with planning skills, goal-oriented, customer-centric mind and have systematical thinking.
