Sales & Marketing Manager - for a premium German brand from sensor lighting industry

(based in Shanghai)

Job Responsibility:

• In general, be responsible for achieving sales and marketing goals in China

• Working independently and reporting to the German headquarters directly

• Gather market intelligence to formulate proper marketing plans and sales strategies

• Develop and expand the existing sales network with new dealers and customers in suitable applications and regions

• Transfer sales- and product-know how to dealers and customers by giving training regularly

• Implement the marketing and brand-building strategy with consideration about the Chinese market situation

• Regular visit to regional distributors, in order to give advice and supervise their sales and marketing activities

• Develop and support the Digital Marketing aiming at selected online and social media platforms

  
  

  
  

Qualification and Requirement:

• Age 27-45, based in Shanghai, bachelor’s degree, majored in marketing or IT / construction

• Minimum 3 years’ sales or marketing experience with knowledge in building automation, lighting management, preferably sensor technology, alternatively in construction or real estate industry

• Proven experience of actively selecting and developing distributors

• Good command of oral/written English

• Knowledge and experience with digital marketing on social media platforms preferred

• Active, outgoing character with good interpersonal communication skills

• Willing to travel frequently in China and to Germany

• High technical understanding and affinity for technical products
