Title: Principal scientist or Assistant/Associate Director

Field: Therapeutic antibody discovery

Job description：

1. Work independently to lead a therapeutic project or project team or research team to conduct therapeutic antibody discovery, new technology development, oncology or immunology target identification or validation.

2. Taking responsibility for defining project requirements, identifying potential issues, and providing solutions to resolve the issues.

3. Manage the discovery team and coordinate the activities and tasks across the related teams, departments and collaborators, and drive the projects to reach the goal and timeline.

4. Identify the issues and difficulties of the projects and provide troubleshooting solutions or suggestions. Prepare project summary or report and present to upper manager and collaborators.

5. This position will also be responsible for maintaining/generating documents and records on daily basis, coordinate common laboratory tasks, lead junior scientists and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications：

1. PhD or equivalent with ＞ 5 years relevant experience and major or training in biology and biochemistry related field, or MS/BS with ＞10 years experience with relevant education and training.

2. Hands-on experience with at least one of the fields including drug discovery, bioassay development, monoclonal antibody generation and characterization, therapeutic project management, antibody engineering, etc.

3. Capability of working independently, team inspiration, leadership and strong troubleshooting ability are highly desired.

4. Should have strong writing and oral presentation ability and communication skills in both Chinese and English. Grant or patent application experience is a big plus.

5. Well-trained in notebook recording, data analysis and report preparation. Grant or patent application experience is a big plus.
