职位描述
This opening is a project based temporary position, starts from Jan 2021 and will last for about 6 months.
The Revenue Management Consultant is responsible for maximising revenue, market share and profits for multiple hotels based in APAC region including South East Asia & Pacific Rim, Greater China including HK, Taiwan & Macau, through the strategic co-operation and communication with revenue management processes with hotels revenue team.
Responsibilities
· Ensure that sales and pricing strategies are based on solid commercial judgement through effective analysis and reporting
· Ensure professional and efficient utilization of all WHR systems, in line with WHR best practices and standard operating procedures
· Ensure effective information gathering and analysis is conducted in order to identify and maximise on all possible opportunities
· Ensure that relevant hotel and commercial team members are actively engaged in all revenue decisions by maintaining regular communication to effectively implement, drive and review optimal strategies and controls
· Integrate with other functions team internally to ensure we deliver the valuable RM service to hotel
· Key deliverable tasks including:
1. Rate and Inventory Audit.
2. Sales and Pricing Strategy.
3. Competitive and Demands Audit and Review.
Requirements / Qualifications
· College degree in Business, Marketing, or Hotel Management, MBA is desirable
· Professional English & Chinese communication is a must
· Multi brand regional or area revenue management experience or equivalent regional management role
· Revenue Manager or Director of Revenue Management at complex hotel or equivalent operation
· Experience in leading teams across cultural boundaries
· International/Multicultural exposure
· Strong analytical skills, ability to analyse, interpret and extract trends from data
· Multi-tasking / Organization: ability to manage multiple activities in parallel with proper follow up on status. Managing across various management levels, time management and prioritization of tasks is important
· Ownership: take the lead to track down and resolve issues; know when to escalate when issues are outside their control to address. Is able to operate efficiently with minimal direct supervision.
· Communication: ability to interact remotely with property and with brand resources at a fairly senior level
· IT: needs to be comfortable with computer systems and electronic Distribution Channels.
