About The Job

A successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a well-established design team with a track record of developing products that have been very successful in the market place. As a design engineering director, you’ll direct your design teams to architect, model, design, and implement analog, digital, and power management integrated circuits with the focus on linear ICs, Buck, Boost and Buck-Boost DC-DC solutions.

Minimum Requirements

·         Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field

·         Years of Experience: 7+

·         Solid background in analog and mixed signal design in CMOS, BCD process technologies with a track record of leading teams to execute competitive designs to plan.

A successful candidate will be able to manage multiple projects, proactively drive research and development for future needs, and manage time effectively. They must be able to communicate the project requirements to design engineers clearly and must be able to provide technical and educational guidance to the design engineers. They must be able to assess the need for risk mitigation measures to keep the projects on schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

·         2+ years experience leading high performing design teams

·         5+ years experience with power management circuit design

·         7+ years experience with analog circuit design

·         Demonstrated ability to release products to market

·         Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively

·         Ability to take the initiative and drive for results

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to take the initiative and drive for results

·         Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

·         Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
