Role Description

Job Title:  Material Planner     Reports To:   Logistic & Material Manager                                                                  

MAIN PURPOSE

Responsible for material in supply side, plan in material requirement.

KEY RESULT AREAS

§  According to SAP schedule to release schedules to supplier and track the supplier’s delivery.

§  Responsible for material planning to ensure non-interruption in production;

§  Maintain accurate schedule and forecast information to all suppliers.

§  Maintain accurate simple material data in SAP.

§  Track production yield and optimize utilization of material;

§  Communicate the non-conforming material to overseas suppliers.

§  Internal Customers- Close contact with Purchasing, Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Customer Service and Warehouse;

§  External Customers- Frequent contact with supplier representatives

 KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

§  Familiar with manufacturing principles and MRPII concept.

§  Good coordination skills, communication skills and computer (MS Office, SAP, etc.) application skills, planning skills.

§  Custom-oriented, time management

§  Initiative, pro-active, self-motivated, creative

§  University degree in Business or Engineering;

§  2~3 years experience in equivalent experience in multi-national manufacturing environment;

§  Good English skill.

§  Must be team spirit work, team communication, team style procedure to work.

§  Must be opening communication and opening multi-functional study willingly.

§  Must be company interest focus and overall vision when work for the company.

§  Work under pressure
