Description: The Analytics Architect works as part of the Global Data and Analytics Technology team within the Corporate IT group.  The Analytics Architect is engaged in working directly with business leaders, Corporate Reporting and Governance group as well as Business Relationship Managers to determine analytics requirements, identify data sources and build workable solutions for analytical needs. 

• The Analytics Architect should have a combination of both technical and business skills and be capable of balancing business demands against technical capabilities, project budgets, and implementation schedules. 
• Responsibilities include the information architecture design across multiple data types and across multiple platform types (operational, analytical, reporting) balancing the need for access against security, analytics and performance requirements.
• The Analytics Architect ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and delivering Azure Data Analytics and SAP solutions with Enterprise level organizations.                   This role focuses primarily on enterprise information requirements: design, access, usage and coordination of stewardship across the business to ensure an enterprise view and consistency. 
• The Analytics Architect will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of  Enterprise Analytics offerings including Azure Data Analytics and SAP Analytics tools.   This includes developing the service, establishing processes and protocols to provide analytics to requesting organizations, and coordinating all aspects of the Analytics environment.

Qualifications    

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of one or more SAP tools, including S/4 HANA, Core Data Services (CDS), BW, Web Intelligence, Design Studio, etc.
• Hands on experience Architecting and delivering solutions using the Azure Data Analytics platform including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Search
• Experience working with BI tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, and Analysis for Office.
• Experience in designing and implementing security for MS SQL, Azure and/or SAP tools.
• Previous experience working directly with business personnel to determine, document and finalize their data requirements.
• 5+ years of Data Analytics experience, specifically in data analysis and reporting.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly.
• Experience translating business needs into project requirements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Work experience in IT development, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or related business experience.
