Job Responsibilities

1. To implement the sourcing strategy for the local categories in line with the overall sourcing strategy to constantly increase productivity, optimize the external global spend, reduce costs.
2. Develop local strategy for decentralized categories according to the centrally stipulated Target Operating Model (TOM).
3. Implement complex Category Strategy following TOM and develop it for de-centralized model (incl. Complex and/or high spend negotiation) and inform accordingly local BPs.
4. Bring potential innovation to company and local market intelligence.
5. Identify, evaluate and classify sourcing risks and devise risk mitigation measures.
6. Manage risk exposure.
7. Identify and evaluate existing and potential local suppliers as well as the establishment and maintenance of supplier relations.
8. Introduce innovation from external marketplace.
9. Use Business Review Meeting and KPI leverage to resolve potential issues at an early stage.
10. Feedback (senior)Category Manager as needed.
11. Manage local Business Partners actively and collaborate in order to align common goals.
12. Coordinate Business Partner Demands within Sourcing and ensure that relevant information is shared and Business Partner is supported adequately.
13. Optimize buying channels and leverage market opportunities.
14. Leverage sourcing tools (including e- or reverse-auction, parallel negotiation etc ...).
15. Maximize usage of Master Services Agreements (MSAs) or Frame Services Agreements (FSAs) as possible.
16. Potentially lead and drive Regional Sourcing projects potentially.

Qualifications

1. Degree: Master degree preferred or Diploma degree
2. Major: Business Administration or Pharmaceutic
3. Required skills:

9. Delivering against commitments
10. Language skills & proficiency: Proficient Spoken and Written English
11. Required experience:6-9 years of sourcing experience in category(ies)management.
