Position: Process Engineer

Report to the Plant Manager.

- Process management:

• Optimization of existing processes according to indicators, capability analysis and quality claims
• Analysis of dysfunction in production
• Process modifications traceability
• Literature researches for process improvements

- Pilot unit management:

• To be a link between R&D and Production to secure new formulation transfers
• Analyze potential risk which can be met during the first industrial batch and define with relative departments actions to put in place
• Define process stability tests
• Traceability of trial process + qualification of new process
• Adapt process on big machine for daily production.

- Production investments:

• Study needs according to R&D projects
• Design and optimize machines according to needs
• Research and exchange with suppliers
• Follow-up installation in production

Qualifications & Requirements:

Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering.

2-5-year experience in R&D, process, technical.

Experience on Polyurethane and Epoxy two-component systems is a plus.

Knowledge on quality system management and international standards is a plus.

Strong demonstration of problem-solving, innovative mind

Fast learner, hand on experience, independent work on product application and technical processes.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Hard work and team work spirit are necessary.

Good level in oral and written English.

Good skills for IT software (ERP, Office, Minitab, …)

Base Salary to be negotiated upon experience plus bonus.
