Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assesses and organizes logistics in terms of transport requirements, Receipt, handling, and distribution of relief items and establishes Proper recording systems;

2. Close connect and effective interactions with various internal like supply chain, sales, marketing, customer service, sourcing, and external stakeholders like Customs, Participative Government Agencies, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.

3. Communication and follow up with customs broker and integrator to ensure customs clearance and information flow post discussion with concerned consignee to address any query customs or participative government agency query.

4. Outbound shipment planning and execution with 3PL warehouse teams to ensure customer due dates are met. Any delay of shipments to be communicated to the concerned stakeholders to set business expectations.

5. Follow product through transportation and into warehouse post-release from customs.

6. Ensure maintaining storage safety, product safety, and hygiene and transportation requirements as per corporate and product guidelines.

7. Undertakes other duties as required.

Requirement

1.University degree (BA/BSc.) in Economics, Engineering, Management, in Transportation/Logistics

2.Minimum 5 years experience in a combination of transport/shipping/insurance/freight/forwarding/procurement. One or more years of CN-based experience and/or work in a multi-cultural environment.

3. Excellent knowledge of English.

4. Excellent knowledge of SAP.

5. Ability to prepare and administer budgets/resources.

6. Communication/inter-personal skills/teamwork.
