Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1. Assure quality of new products: support DFMEA, conduct PFMEA, define and implement the Control Plan including quality verification procedure, submit the PPAP.
- Complete and effective PPAP
- Number of Non-conformities of 0.series, first 3 month units
- Meet project timeline
2. Address field non-conformities: investigate and eliminate root-cause, communicate actions and progress, issue and track 8D report until closing.
- Time to close non-conformity
- Effectiveness of solution to avoid re-appearance
- Sales & Service confidence in quick and competent solution
3. Monitor and improve relevant KPI to identify, prioritize and realize further improvements
- Product non-conformity development
- Progress and effectiveness of improvement actions
- Customer satisfaction
4. Conduct internal and prepare external audits: Planning and execute the annual internal audit; handle ISO9000, ISO17025 and customer audit.
- Internal audit plan, reports with improvement action list
- Effectiveness of and time to close improvement actions
5. Support production line kaizen activities; support SQE for the parts technical issue.

Competencies

1. Proven track record in ensuring quality of new products
2. Sound expertise in submitting PPAP, executing PFMEA and setting-up Control Plans for complex products
3. Mastering problem solving techniques and basic quality tools like 8D, A3, DMAIC, SPC, fishbone, …
4. Very good communication and strong leadership skills
5. Excellent oral and written English (able to actively engage in oversea conference calls on complex technical matters)
6. Firm use of statistical tools like process capability, uncertainty analysis, MSA
7. 6-Sigma black belt
8. Experience with ISO17025
