职位描述

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:      

1. Sales and Marketing: Identifies China market needs for the product(s) and for ensuring that product designs are matched to demand. Ability to regularly make direct sales calls (identification of targets, identifying customer requirements, qualification process, quoting, and follow-up). Creates proposals and sales presentations for new customers. Attend appropriate trade shows and events to create new leads.       

2. Market, Customer Planning: Develop sales and marketing plans in China Industrial and Commercial market consistent with companys strategy. Authors new product technical requirements.       

3. Product Portfolio: Works with broader sales team and engineering to understand customer needs.  Make recommendations to Global Product Line Management any product ideas which enhance and expand our global catalog offering.       

4. Product Pricing and Forecast:  Regularly performs pricing and competitive analysis by customer channel and recommend strategies to improve market position, improve quality and/or reduce costs, produces, maintains and updates forecast on a regular basis. Works across functional boundaries to help ensure that forecasted products are built, and profit targets are met. Works closely with Global Product Line Management to increase profitable revenue. Author a “local” product stocking program to increase the Reell China in-region service level and work with the Reell Operations team to execute.    

5. Team Building: Provides perspective and training regarding China and target markets to all Reell Coworkers. Provide help and exhibit leadership behavior with Reell China coworkers. Work with the Head of Reell China - Sales to author, negotiate and entry into Chinese Customer sales contracts. Present at the Reell China Quarterly review to the RLT and broader Reell functional leader coworkers. At Reell global sales meeting, demonstrate leadership by accepting stretch assignments from the Head of Reell China - Sales to present the Reell China value selling presentations. Assist the Head of Reell China - Sales in the creation of the Annual Operating Plan for Reell China.

6. Sales Order Management: Serve as first contact within the Sales and Customer Service department for scheduling problems and questions.    

  • Provides formal quotes as required or requested from customers. Update systems and distribute as required.
  • Customer Schedule and Shipment Tracking: Keeps customers informed of shipments and other pertinent sales order activity like expedite requests and samples.
  • Customer Feedback (RMA): Processes Return Material Authorization (RMA) for customers and monitor progress. Assures communication with customers for corrective actions as needed.    

7. Customer Account Management: Define industrial and commercial target customers and develop these markets with Global Product Line Management. Work within a Global Sales team for accounts that are designated Global OEM accounts like Siemens, Philips and Huawei. Receives and reviews all China PO's. Verify accuracy of pricing, part numbers, delivery date(s), shipping addresses, etc.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Four year Degree in Mechanical Engineering & Business
  • Four years of experience with technical sales experience or MBA with two years of experience  

       

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:  

  • MBA in Business or MS in Mechanical Engineering
  • Microsoft Project proficiency
  • Three to Five years in China markets.
  • Previous work experience with a global OEM company

    

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Travel: Up to 50% travel
