·  Work closely with Engineering to influence technical design decisions to meet technical capabilities and business objectives. Display Manager will define standard and custom product requirements and present valid solutions for product concepts and development projects

·  Develop a Commodity Technology Roadmap to aligning business requirements with supplier capabilities

·  Responsible for NPI and Sustaining product Assurance of Supply for respected commodity. Support to resolve qualification/spec alignment/ramp up issue to get commodity on board in timely in order to have smooth ramp up. Capacity and resource management to ensure production meets ramp plan.

·  Responsible for AVL (Approved Vendors List) for the commodity, supplier selection, and qualification

·  Ensure a competitive sourcing environment leading to continuous improvement in quality, cost, service, and technology

·  Interface with cross-functional teams to assess current and future sourcing requirements.

·  Responsible for bi-annual business reviews

·  Manage overall supplier relationships, including supplier performance, capability development, cost, and quality improvements.

·  Maintain personal knowledge of market trends, including rigorous analysis of market drivers, cost structures, and technical advancements.

·  Support our ODM supplier initiatives, including annual cost reductions, lead-time reductions, favorable payment terms, etc.

·  Know the vendor base globally and act globally. Travel to regions as needed.

·  Lead regular business review with strong commercial sense.

Experience and Qualification

·  Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations or Business

·  Minimum 7 years of experience in the supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing or business-related positions

·  Knowledge and experience in consumer electronics components supply chain and cost structure

·  Experience and knowledge in Display technology, design/development process and supply chain including touch electronics and touch panels

·  5+ years of experience in product or process definition, having taken a display product from concept to execution

·  Knowledge in various display technologies, including MicroLED, MicroOLED, LCOS, DLP, LCD, LCM, Touch, etc.

·  Knowledge in financial statement analysis to derive should-cost models and cost competitiveness/financial strengths of suppliers, as well as gathering market intelligence

·  Experience articulating points of view with executive management but execute plans when directed

·  Knowledge in supplier evaluation/selection should cost models, contract negotiation and supply base management

·  CPM or CPSM certifications. (As +)

·  High energy and passion for working in a dynamic environment and providing new approaches to strategic sourcing and supply base management          

·  Team player with deep cross-group collaboration and project management skills, with experience developing efficient work plans for complex projects involving many groups, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

·  Ability to work independently and within a matrix environment; a self-starter

·  Strong combination of business, technical, supply chain management knowledge base

·  Advanced analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities

·  Fine-tuned communications skills (both written and verbal, English and Mandarin)

·  High tolerance for ambiguity
