Position Summary:

  

Responsible for the technical controlling/driving of software project in automotive electronic parts development, e.g. Car infotainment system, T-Box, Cluster, ADAS…

  

 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  

• Leading/Manage automotive electronic parts software development project on technical side
• Review system design and evaluate system architecture, software solution selection with application of platform strategy and common design to reduce redundant design/effort
• High level requirement analysis, new features & new solutions, KPI, infrastructure foundation needs
• Work together with software architect, initial S/W architecture construction, platform& building block evaluation, be interface with platform/build block architect
• Work together with software architect, create/review Software Architecture Document, including System level Architecture design, common framework utilization, de-coupling of modules, interface definition with support from FOs, domain leaders, domain expert, mechanism definition ( process synchronization, IPC,  Task priority, debug /trace mechanism etc)
• New technology  & solution evaluation and selection,  gray area clarification and resolution
• Review and approval of software detail design, software code review
• Resolve technical conflict, arbitration on technical issues
• Analysis on inter-component issues, evaluate on architectural issues and make decision on solutions
• Critical issue resolution support
• Provide technical training
• Technical risk assessment
• Technical discussion and presentation to customer/management

  

 

  

 

  

Basic Qualifications:

  

• Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, Electronic engineering
• 5+ years hands on experience in Android embedded software development in practical project
• Strong Android knowledge, good understanding and experience in Andriod whole stack, including driver, Linux OS, HAL, Android framework,  HMI, and other functional modules.
• Proficient in C/C++, Java, Design Patterns
• Be able to technical leading Android embedded product development
• Strong experience in object-oriented software design
• Experience in Agile development/management techniques
• Problem solving and negotiating skills
• Excellent English language skills (Able to host conference call in English across countries)
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
• Experience in automotive electronics parts software development is a big plus
• Experience in hardware virtualization and Hypervisor is a big plus
• Software project management skills (methods/tools) is a plus
• Technical lead/team lead experience is a plus
• Knowledge of SW Quality processes (e.g. SPiCE, CMMI, ISO26262)
• Automotive industry and TS16949/QS9000 compliant work experience preferred
