The Operations Manager:

    

• Manage daily operation (extruding, bag making, paper converter)
• Manage customer plant audits
• Establishes and maintains supplier relationships
• Coordinates suppliers, i.e., extruders, paper converter, carton suppliers, freight companies, printers, etc.
• Negotiates pricing for materials, products and services.
• Manages Accounts Payable.
• Is responsible for quality assurance and quality control of Daubert China products.
• Is responsible for ISO 9000 and ISO 14000
• Manages Inventory, including establishing safety inventory.
• Places Purchase Orders with the parent company, USA.

The Operations Manager coordinates between the appropriate departments and is responsible for driving initiatives that contribute to long-term operational success.   He plays a very important part in financial management, planning, systems and controls. The person must manage the budget in coordination with the General Manager and control costs to stay within that budget. 

    

The Operations Manager, working with the General Manager, manages accounts payable, supply contracts and manufacturing agreements.  The Operations Manager supervises and coaches office personnel and oversees staffing requirements.  He or she oversees logistics (shipping and receiving), sets standards and manages customer expectations and ensures customer satisfaction.
