In this position, you will be responsible for providing package and platform

Signal/ power integrity solution design/validation/correlation/troubleshooting for INTEL server CPU and GPU.

Your will be required to:

- Participate and lead cross functional teams working on product definition and development

- Lead feasibility study to identify platform signaling/power delivery solution with key stakeholders: silicon, package,  VR, board.

-Performs comprehensive simulations and validations to generate Intel design guidelines to guide system level signal integrity/Power integrity design including silicon, package, socket and boards.

-Interacts cross function teams like silicon circuit design, package design, board design, board fabricators, etc, for ensuring the proper implementation of high-speed interfaces such as UPI, DDR, PCIe, SATA/SAS, and system SI for clocks, power, etc.

- Drive implementation with silicon, package and system teams

- Analyze failures, provide solutions and work with suppliers

- Assist system engineers to debug signal/power system related issues

- Provide a written technical presentation with simulation findings and corresponding design recommendations

The ideal candidate should exhibit behavioral traits that indicate:
- Discipline and results orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple disciplines, such as silicon design, package design, board design, PCB layout, and mechanical design
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree, with 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Each of the below skillsets would require a minimum 5 years’ experience in the relevant field

- Proved experiences on silicon, package and board level signal integrity or power integrity
- Experience with power integrity modeling and analysis tools, including Hspice, powerDC and powerSI, or other similar design tools

- Familiar with DC-DC converter technology and electromagnetic field theory.

-Experience with signal integrity modeling tools, including 3D EM modeling (Ansys HFSS) and simulation (Agilent ADS or similar) software

-Experience with signal integrity analysis tools (ex: HSPICE, Sigrity tools, etc)

-Lab hands on experiences on TDR, VNA, BERTscope, digital scopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters
