• Raw material planning

1. Inventory owner of assigned raw material category, including imported finish goods in transit.

2. Short term plan:

   1. Correctly and timely place purchase requisition based upon sale orders or sales forecast.

   2. Correctly and timely place and update call-off order based upon production scheduling.

3. Long term planning based upon sales forecast.

4. As a coordinator, lead the internal or external meeting to fix the problems for the supply of raw materials.

5. Evaluation and performance management of suppliers.

6. Lead/Support Engineering Change Requisition (ECR) related raw materials.

7. Maintenance of material master date in SAP

8. Early warning of any risks, such as shortage, pricing and supplier capacity etc.

• WIP Planning

1. Lead the Production planning weekly meeting.

2. Manage the production plan, scheduling processes to ensure high efficiency.

3. Maintain daily production schedule ensuring preparation of materials for all processes are in place.

4. Lead and control the production work order process including creation, kitting and closure, review and investigate variances and liaison with Production management.

5. Understanding of volume line schedules.

6. Inventory control, organise monthly stock and location checks.

7. Strong liaison with Supply chain to ensure Materials are available when required.

8. Strong liaison with team leaders to support production planning functions for smooth operation of daily activities including attending meetings when required.

9. Strong liaison with Commercial team, reviewing plan detail against forecast.

10. Lead projects to reduce variances: looking at costings of material waste. Proactively working alongside with production personnel to improve current processes.

Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail

Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
