Job Purpose:

    

Assistant Merchandiser is responsible for PO management and vendor compliance, activities for order processing, reporting, production tracking, shipments. They work in conjunction with company’s product development team and QA team to support the Merchandising and needs.

    

        

    

Job Content and Duties:

    

    

1. Vendor relationship ownership:

    

·       Contact window for assigned vendor’s daily business operation.

    

·       Follow up vendor data maintenance and changes.

    

·       Assist for claim collection and other finance tasks.

    

·       Vendor manual/policy compliance.

    

    

1. Vendor performance Management

    

·       Maintain vendor performance scorecard, coordinate with vendor exceptions.

    

·       Work with PD to check production schedule and carryover production following up.

        

·       Following with vendors for PO fulfilment.

    

·       Liaison with QA to facilitate inspection and quality control to vendor.

    

·       Work with QA team, PD for claims from DC, customers, etc.

    

·       Work with CSR team for annual audit schedule.

    

 

    

1. PO management & Fulfillment

    

·       Vendor POs fulfilment and shipping schedule follow up.

    

·       Support for PO revisions/maintenance and lead time discussion.

    

·       Daily check PO placement, revision, shipping and improve OTD.

• Continuously monitor Projections and material stock from vendors.
• Coordinate with inventory and vendors for PO change requests.
  

            

    

Job Competencies & Experience

    

    

Knowledge

    

·       3+ years of practical experience in foreign enterprise company or sourcing office.

    

·       Knowledge of PO and shipping management.

    

·       Sound production handling experience and skills, sense of ownership.

    

·       Ability to work across function team to coordinate the production.

    

    

Skills

    

    

·       Good communications skills in speaking and writing

    

·       Attention to details and high level of accuracy

    

·       Reporting and data analysis tools (computer skills)

    

·       Strong service mindset to customer with a result orientation

    

·       Vendor relationship management and negotiation skill
