Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:      

Reporting to a team of regional legal counsel, the successful candidate would be responsible mainly for:

1. Assisting in handling all aspects of non-contentious and contentious trademark matters, the management of the trademark portfolio, IP litigations and IP advisory matters;   

2. Assisting in providing legal support to internal stakeholders in respect of all brand related issues including in particular licensing matters;   

3. Maintaining and improving various internal IP / legal databases and handling various administrative tasks for the team including but not limited to supporting internal procedures and document management;

4. All other legal support as may be required by the Global Legal, IP and Compliance Department.

Our expectations for this exciting role:

1. 5 years of experience in the legal sector in intellectual property at an international level with a focus on trademark matters.

2. Experience and knowledge in copyright, advertising, unfair competition law, know-how protection and corporate and commercial law an advantage.

3. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, high level of intercultural sensitivity, good negotiation skills, assertive, meticulous, independent and able to work in a team.
