Job Responsibilities:

1. Arranges experimental data in tables and graphs to identify possible relationships.

2. Builds / installs auxiliary equipment in consultation with supervisor

3. Reports experiments and results both verbally and in laboratory books and explains to team members the details of her/his work

4. Prepares the work and reports with the guidance of a supervisor. The source of information is either known or indicated by the supervisor

5. Executes, with some supervision, a routine set of experimental activities that has been defined by the supervisor applying high quality standards.

6. Maintains timely, accurate and (witnessed) lab notebooks in order to provide the records required to properly execute/address all IP questions and needs and to safeguard experimental data.

7. Contributes to others’ projects. Efficient running of the laboratory operations with the highest standard of integrity, EHS and practices good housekeeping.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 0-2 years' working experience in chemical companies or labs. Fresh graduate needs to demonstrate proficiency in polymer or chemistry subjects and experimental skills in university.

2. Demonstration appreciation to protection of intellectual property.

3. Strong commitment to safety, 5S, providing reliable technical data & lab notebook records, good team work and ability to quickly learn and grasp technical knowledge as needed.

4. Adequate skills in written English to read & write technical reports/materials in English.

5. Personal computer skills.

6. Strong commitment to work efficiency. Show proactive ownership in team work.

7. Good communication skills and flexible to multi-tasks handling. Good soft skills to manage priorities for urgent tasks.

8. Strong willing to stay in lab and enjoying QC related operational work, including heavy moving tasks, e.g., 25kg DI water drums.

 

Education Requirements:

• Graduate/Diploma or associate degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Polymer Science related.

• Minimum CET-4 certification for English.

Preferred qualifications:

• Working experience in waterborne coating industries, e.g, epoxy, acrylic, PU or others; Or good experience in epoxy technology related industries, such as coatings and civil engineering, adhesives, fiber sizing, wind, composite, and so on.
