LAIBA Beverages is seeking an Account Executive to help grow the company’s Chinese on trade and retail sales through distributors and strategic partnerships. The role will be based in Shanghai and will require travel throughout China to visit the company’s distributors and customers (including luxury hotels, high-end restaurants, bars, clubs, big box retailers and beyond).

LAIBA Beverages is Asia’s largest premium bottled cocktail brand that focuses on bringing world class mixology to many channels including hotels (mini-bar, executive lounge, banquets etc.), premium restaurants, bars, cafes, airlines, retail and beyond. All of the cocktails are crafted in small batches and designed by Michael Chen, with experience working in some of the “World’s 50 Best” awarded bars. The concept allows for exceptional quality cocktails but makes it as easy to prepare and serve as a bottle of beer or glass of wine. Simply pour over ice, add a garnish and serve.

The Role:

· Research and identify new business opportunities- including new markets across China through distributors and strategic partnerships

· Train the respective distributor sales teams on how to effectively sell and activate LAIBA in their markets

· Build and maintain relationships with key accounts of the distributor including guest bartending shifts, cocktail masterclasses etc.

· Establishing best practices and SOPs to assist with future roll out in new markets

Location: Based in Shanghai China, with frequent travel around China

Salary: Competitive salary package based off of prior experience

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree with 3+ year experience in relevant field

· OR a successful bartending/hospitality career (5+ years’ experience)

· Fluent in English (speaking and writing)

· Fluent in Chinese (speaking and writing)

· Excellent time management and organizational skills

· Knowledge of the hospitality and alcoholic beverage markets

· Willing to travel up to 60% of the time
