Qualifications

• Degree; 3 full verifiable years leading a classroom after receipt of credential

• Basic business skills -budget, financial reports

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Bilingual – English and Chinese

• Verified recommendations

• Ability to multi-task; manage details, collaborate with team members

• Evidence of Leadership skills to design, plan and implementation of annual MSS campus

  professional development (Co-Leadership with Dean and collaboration with the MCAE Committee

  Responsibilities

• Full Director TMEC AMS Teacher Education Program

• Supervise (with Dean) the preparation of all program courses

• Prepare the annual calendar by February each year (with Dean)

• Observe and assess TMEC instructor delivery of program courses

• Supervise (with Dean) the preparation of all program courses

• Prepare the annual calendar by February each year (with Dean)

• Observe and assess TMEC instructor delivery of program course

• Establish understanding of MSS education program

• Foster relationships with classroom teachers (supervising teachers)

• Create personal knowledge for the TMEC program in practicum setting

• Model professionalism for TMEC Field Consultants

• Instruct up to 2 major content areas and lead practicum seminars

• Complete 1 Field Visit with each adult learner at level of credential

• Instruct (or Co-Instruct the Dean) for all Practicum Seminar sessions:

• Conduct regular staff meeting for TMEC instructors (via zoom or in person

• Monthly meetings with Coordinators / Practicum Coordinators
