Key responsibilities

    

Active Brands Shanghai Office is currently expanding at a rapid pace and we are therefore looking for a merchandiser for Bj？rn D？hlie Team. As merchandiser you will be involved in both the development and SMS arrangement of the brand. Since the garments contains complex workmanship and techniques the position requires the candidate to have extensive knowledge regarding Base layer, training, and taped garments. As a merchandiser you will be responsible for gathering, coordinating and communicating information with Norwegian colleagues and all linked vendors involved Garment, Fabric, Trims. You will work as a part of the Development team and report to the Team Leader and Development Manager.

    

We are looking for someone who is honest, responsible, loyal, proactive and hardworking. Desired skills and expertise:

• At least 5 years’ experience working as a merchandiser.
• Extensive experience from working with both Woven and Knit garments include Outdoor fabric/CVC/ Synthetic fabric /Softshell/ other Casual styles, previous experience working with sportswear considered a plus.
• Great spoken and written English skills
• Textile/garment educational background considered as a plus
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Frequent trips to factories primarily in Shanghai and neighboring provinces required
