Regulatory Affairs Supervisor法规事务主管

Location: Pinghu/Shanghai

Report to Regulatory and Legislation Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead the workstream of review and approval of recipes, develop SPECs and product labels against related regulations, maintain regulatory information in database, workout SDS and GHS labels, provide regulatory support to transfer from approvals into productions.

• Lead recipe/SPEC/label change assessment and management, work with commercial team when customer communication is need.

• Complete customer documents for products from this specific production facility, e.g. varies statements, nutrition profiling, questionnaires, etc..

• Establish the regulatory status database for aroma chemicals and final flavors in ERP system, ensure raw materials are in fully regulatory compliance, meeting production needs and customer needs, and flavor products are compliant with target market.

• Provide support on application of varies operational Licensing such as Food Production License(SC) and Halal Certificates within schedule from the government or 3rd parties.

• Provide support on regulatory and legislation procedures establishment for Pinghu plant, work closely with other functions such as quality, production, supply chain, flavor creation, etc. to ensure operational regulatory compliance.

• Provide regulation and legislation trainings to function teams as scheduled.

• Support regular varies on-site audits from multiple authorities and customers.

• Provide comments for customer contracts and OEM/vendor contracts from regulatory perspective.

• Provide relevant regulatory compliance support to other functional groups.

  Qualifications:

• Food, Chemical or Pharmaceutical Bachelor degree or above.
• More than 3 years quality and regulatory working experience in flavor/food/nutrition or related industry, well understand of flavor regulations/standards is preferred.
• Good cross-functional communication skill.
• Good logical and analytic thinking.
• Strong learning ability, patient and responsible.
• Fluent English and Mandarin in both written and spoken.
• Based in Shanghai office from Jan – Jun 2021, travel frequently to Pinghu site. As from July 2021, based in Pinghu, or based in Pinghu from Jan of 2021.
