Scope: Vale’s Strategic Procurement Categories for Commercial Office. Each analyst to be responsible for a group of categories. The definition of responsible per category may be reviewed at any time.

Execution of purchase of office demand categories of China/AsiaPac region,  support global and local buyers at tender planning and execution (including, RFQ, negotiation and award/feedback)

Main Responsibility:

• Identify potential synergies at procurement for Vale’s China/Asiapac office operations and manage regional tenders;
• Consolidating and simplify the spot purchase demand, understand the demand scope with internal clients and creating frame contracts.
• Aligned with needs of other buying areas, develop suppliers in AsiaPac region, (includes recommendation and pre-evaluation based on parameters indicated by internal clients)
• Support Buyers in China or AsiaPac regional buyers at tender planning and execution (including, RFQ, negotiation and award/feedback)
• Support Buyers in China or AsiaPac regional buyers at contract management with suppliers from AsiaPac – including execution of contracts.
• Cross-department cooperation is the key responsibility of the buyer, therefore, fluent English, strong communication skill and logic thinking is the must
