The Asia-Pacific Regional Distribution Centre in Shanghai is a fast-growing organization with 90 employees, serving several divisions of the Compressor Technique, Industrial Technique, Power Technique and Vacuum Technique Business Areas. With the recent development into a regional hub for spare parts, our organization delivers over 30,000 customer order lines a month throughout China and Asia-Pacific for 10 different brands within the Atlas Copco Group. The main activities are: customer service, inventory planning, warehousing and shipping, supported by strong purchasing, controlling, IT, SHEQ and HR departments.
Job description / Mission:
Transport & shipping part:
- To be responsible for daily follow up of case by case quotation request for different transport mode, including domestic transport, air freight, sea freight, rail freight.
Support for contract management of forwarders, including contract signing process follow up.
Monthly payment application and follow up in E-purchase, forwarder monthly invoice check and follow up.
Forwarder monthly damange claims follow up.
Support for transport projects, including master data preparation for SAP TMS function module.
Support for tender projects, including freight cost saving calculation and analysis
Any other daily operations for transport & shipping
Planning part:
- Daily operation of stock replenishment run and purchase orders generation.
Follow up purchase orders, to guarantee stock availability as target.
Keep contact with vendors and update the PO confirmation date in time.
Make forecast for critical vendors
Track and monitor supplier delivery performance and set up communication plan with supplier to drive delivery performance and quality improvement.
Responsible for inventory control at spare parts level by set up min/max inventory, reasonable lead time, safety stock, lot size and ROP.
Other tasks are required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree
- Knowledge of English / computer / MS office skill
- Initiatives, self-motivation, and willing to accept certain pressure.
- Good computer skills (MS Excel), preferably with experience of using SAP.
- Good communicate skills and with strong responsibility and teamwork spirit.
- Good command of English both in writing and speaking.
- Good positive attitude towards learning.
