Key accountabilities


·Participates in all aspects of project test planning process including providing input to test strategy, developing Test Plan, mapping requirements to test cases, test case/component development, data mining
·Participates in project document reviews and project meetings
·Leads or participates in test document reviews
·Accountable for using standard tools and best practices
·Designs test components based on business functions with a focus on reuse
·Develops test cases following process guidelines for component creation and naming conventions
·Collaborates with automation engineers to review test components
·Executes SIT testing according to test plan
·Reports and tracks defects, participate in triage/status reviews
·Communicates project/work status and issues to QA lead
·Participates in production validation as required
·Facilitates knowledge sharing, both written and orally among team members
·May work on multiple projects concurrently

Your skills and experience

·Essential skills
·Good written and verbal English skills
·Microsoft Office experience
·Quality Center experience a plus
·ClearQuest experience a plus
·Manual web application testing experience required
·Automation execution a plus (QTP preferred)
·Solid problem solving and troubleshooting skills required
·Test plan creation experience preferred
·Database/SQL skills required
·Business/Application knowledge
·Effective collaboration
