Responsibilities:
The Solution Consultant is responsible for implementing UKG or other products in customer environments such as multiple locations and/or departments in a hardware/software, multi-vendor or multi-protocol environments. The successful candidate will utilize the defined implementation process and industry knowledge to guide customers through the implementation and to meet the established implementation milestones and targeted completion dates. The successful candidate will implement and support products that Kronos sells to its customers and will work closely with other Kronos team members to complete tasks toward completing system implementations. The ideal candidate will also possess good client management skills.
Other responsibilities will include understanding and configuring interfacing products, follow practices and procedures in analyzing a variety of business situations, provide knowledge transfer for customers/partners and creating process documentation, diagrams and feature specifications.
- Work with UKG and client team members with minimal supervision
- Lead and actively participate in the client configuration design, build, test and deployment activities
- Work closely with other resources on new client implementation, upgrade and change order projects
- Proactively consult with the UKG best practice methodology, configuration design and build activities to ensure client success
- Comfortable presenting in front of client audiences over the web as well as the phone
- Drive all client system requirements and collaborate with clients and Kronos resources for project related decisions
- Utilize his/her technical ability to prioritize issues and respond appropriately to multiple critical situations
- Research application questions by setting up scenarios and testing the application
- Analyzing customer configurations and thinking out of the box to resolve and or work around set up issues
- Provide significant transfer of product knowledge to customers, hand over solution to product support.
- Developing and documenting best practices
- Collaboration with Sales, Presales, Support etc.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills, excellent oral and written communication skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with client/server and/or web-based technologies
- Excellent technical understanding of operating systems, networking technologies, software applications and communication protocols
- WFM software application implementation experience required, consulting/customer interface experience required
- Broad knowledge of labor management, HR/Payroll, ERP or similar domain product/systems, knowledge and experience working with SQL and/or Oracle
- Knowledge and experience working with development languages (Java, Java Script, VB, C#) are a plus
- Ability to serve as both a Solution Consultant and Project Manager is a plus. In that combined (Gemini) role, assume full responsibility for the entire project
- Ability to be involved in sales stage to ensure thorough understanding of project scope and success criteria
- Partner with client project lead to drive projects to completion staying within established time frames and scope, work with clients to develop project timeline and project plan
- Accountable for project profitability, client satisfaction and budget, responsible for all project deliverables
- May secure additional resources for projects as required, travel up to 50% may be required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
