We provide programmes including A Level, IB and University Foundation, as well as English Language Study, to a growing number of international students seeking to win places at UK universities.

We operate a number of different educational brands: CATS Colleges in Cambridge, Canterbury, and London; CATS Academy in Boston; Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts (CSVPA) and Stafford House English language schools and study holidays. OVERVIEW OF THE JOB

The post holder will provide high quality Marketing advice and support to the China team and support the delivery of global marketing objectives. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake a variety of duties both independently and under supervision along with working closely with the China and Global team.

REPORTS TO

You will be directly responsible to the Product Director, China

· Other Marketing colleagues within the Marketing team

· China Sales & Product team

· Academic and administrative staff across all centres and colleges

  

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

To provide full marketing support to the China team, responsibilities to include:

Branding & Social media update

  

· Develop and deliver CATS/Stafford House unique selling points via social mediaincluding WeChat, Weibo, websites and e-zines

· Deliver facility/faculty/courses/students stories & progression etc. via all available social media

· Develop more possible social media including but not limited in Sohu, Sina, Toutiao, Youku and Tencent etc.

· Develop and cooperate with press and local portal websites to promote all centres widely

· Optimize local searching engines, reply and neutralize negative contents online, including Baidu Tieba, Zhihu, Douban, other online forums and Google etc.

  

Marketing materials & Design

  

· Work closely with Product & Sales team and central marketing to design and produce local brochures which fits China market.

· Localize marketing collaterals on time and within budget, including CATS/Stafford House brochures/pre-arrivals/flyers/student handbooks etc.

· Work closely with Product and Sales team to design marketing materials as requested, including flyers, invitation letters, banner stands, posters, business cards etc.

· Manage marketing materials and present them to sales or agents or oversea offices properly, including brochures, photos, videos etc.

· Systematically update both online and offline materials when changes are required

· Work closely with sales team to produce business gifts as requested within the budget

  

Communication

  

· Communicate with central marketing, school-based staff, Product and Sales team to update and circulate marketing materials, ensure consistency of brand and content across all centres

· Communicate with central marketing, center-based staff to collect and launch successful stories, progression and testimonials every year

· Provide support to agencies and ensure brand guidelines are adhered to

  

Event Planning

  

· Cooperate with third party to promote CATS/Stafford House, and maximize the impact through partners’ social media & CATS colleges all available social media, such as CCTV

  

Administrative duties

  

· Work closely with CSS to manage stock of marketing collateral, and ensure all materials are sufficient, especially in exhibition season

· Communicate with vendors to ensure all materials are produced and delivered on time with high quality

· Undertake any other duties commensurate with the status of the post, as deemed necessary by the Product Director or Other Marketing colleagues.
