NYU Shanghai seeks candidates for a part-time Teaching Associate position for the course: Foundations of Science Biology 1. This is a required course for all NYU Shanghai Natural Science and Data Science majors. The majority of students enrolled will be first-year students.

The Teaching Assistant position is a one-semester appointment for Spring 2021 (the Spring 2021 semester will run from 01/22/2021 to 05/31/2021). Dependent on mutual interest and needs, there is possibility for further extension and long-term contract.

 

Responsibilities

• Attend Lectures;
• Lead Recitation Sessions and Review Course Materials with Students;
• Assist Course Instructor in Course Preparation;
• Grade Homework, Quizzes, and Exams;
• Track Student Attendance;
• Other Related Assignments, as Requested by Course Instructor.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Biology or Biological Sciences.
