Position Summary:
The engineer will work in a cross functional team and be required to specify, design and develop innovative and reliable digital designs to satisfy functional specifications that are fit for production. The position will be fully responsible for the developments and designs that take place in conjunction with other engineers, some of whom may be based at other locations. To ensure quality, it is essential that at every stage of the EE development Process, the appropriate documents are created and maintained in accordance with company procedures
Location: Suzhou/Shanghai
Key Responsibilities:
-Work for product life cycle management projects, including End of life components replacement projects, quality improvement projects, test fixture design projects, cost down projects and NPI projects
-Work with cross function team to understand customer requirement, participate in system/subsystem design review, finalize detailed electric design
-Design schematic of digital and mixed signal electric circuit board based on design requirement
Analyze and simulate the performance of the circuit
Create the design documents for design review (HLD, LLD ,FMEA etc.), and verification plan mapping to the key performance and reliability requirement
-Verify the design performance to meet the requirement, complies with the Manufacturability and Serviceability, and achieve the cost/reliability target
-Collaborate closely with the mechanical engineering team members to meet regulatory, safety, environmental, reliability, thermal, interface standard (Ethernet, USB, etc.) and compliance requirements
-Collaborate closely with the firmware engineering team members to create optimal hardware/firmware partitions that meet functional requirements and cost goal
-Work with the sourcing team and the supplier to coordinate the manufacturing and test specification and procedure for ICT and FCT of PCBA
-Cooperate with cross function to conduct the design transfer ensuring the product developed could be transferred to production smoothly
-Maintain the designed product in production line, timely support manufacturing team and secure the product revenue in daily work
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
-A Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering, mechatronics or related field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in electronics design in R&D team
-Excellent understanding of analogue and digital design fundamentals
-Experience in electronics circuit design, development and testing
-Experience in embedded system design with MCU, MPU design such as MSP430, and ARM
-Be familiar with EDA tools, such as OrCAD, Altium Designer, etc for schematic diagram and PCB drawing
-Basic knowledge of signal integrity, EMC/EMI, CCC, UL, RoHS
-Experience in FPGA design with VHDL or Verilog, familiar with Altera or Xilinx FPGA programming/synthesis/simulation tools such as Quartus or ISE is preferred
-Proficient in production equipment and testing instruments (digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers)
-Good English capability both in Oral and writing
