JOB ROLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Founded in 2009, Central Studios has earned a reputation as Shanghai’s leading photo studio & venue,

dependable content production partner, and a focus of the Shanghai creative community. Now in our tenth year,

we service world leading brands with our team of dedicated, passionate and curious people, willing to go the extra

yard to deliver on our promise to our clients.

We are looking for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT GURU to join our team to help drive sales and occupancy in our

studio spaces. Our photo studios are the leading studio spaces in Shanghai with an ideal downtown location and a

great reputation for celebrity shoots as well as being a convenient creative space for corporate and brand events.

Our clients for both shooting and events are leading brands in the luxury, fashion and consumer goods industries

as well as production industry players.

As a BD Guru at CS, you will be tasked with driving new business into our studios to increase occupancy and drive

sales growth.

A background in any of these areas will help you succeed in this role: i) brand sales and marketing; ii) event or

hospitality industry sales and marketing; iii) community development; iv) PR management and buzz marketing.

We may be 10 years young, but we are still a small company. Reporting directly to the CEO, your role will be

autonomous so your energy input and ideas will directly contribute to results.

JOB OUTLINE

? Responsible for creating lead generation opportunities to identify clients to rent our studio spaces for

photoshoots and events.

? Work with the operations teams to successfully convert leads into real bookings and meet monthly targets for

both occupancy and revenue.

? Cross sell other content production services offered by Central Studios to increase average revenue per client.

? Identify brand partnerships offering our creative consulting and production services for content creation or

experiential activations within our own space or external locations.

? Conceive and help manage industry relevant and community events, all with a view to activate our studio

spaces for increased lead generation

? Work with our CRM system to generate and convert leads by engaging new leads sources as well as reengaging

existing customers.

? Identify advertising opportunities through various digital and industry related channels

TO FURTHER SUCCEED AT THIS JOB YOU SHOULD:

? be sales focused and constantly looking for new client opportunities

? have an established client & community network across advertising, fashion, retail and luxury markets.

? have a clear understanding of marketing strategy and implementation, CRM systems and managing customer

database.

? be a social, outgoing friendly personality to easily forge new relationships

? be confident in the relevant office (OS X) software with good graphic sensibilities for clear presentations.

? be able to manage client negotiations.

? be community minded and culturally connected to pulse of art, music, fashion and technology, ensuring

strategy embraces the cultural sensitivity of the local market and pertains to our company positioning..

? have min. 5 years’ working experience in a similar role or industry, bringing a good network of resources.

? speak / read / write English & Chinese fluently. Other languages a bonus!

任职要求:

有品牌销售和市场营销的工作经验。

有在广告、时尚、零售和奢侈品市场建立客户和社区网络的工作经验。

对营销策略制定和实施、CRM系统和客户数据库管理有清晰的理解。

善于社交，外向友好，容易建立新的关系。

熟练应用相关的办公软件，具有良好的图形感，清晰的表达能力。

擅长与客户谈判。

具有社会意识，与艺术、音乐、时尚和科技的脉搏保持文化上的联系，确保策略能融入当地市场的文化，并符合我们公司的定位。

5年以上相关工作经验，具有良好的资源网络。

流利地说/读/写英语和汉语能力。拥有其他语言能力更佳。
