Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

· Manage the order fulfillment, production/material planning to meet performance targets, providing clear support and guidance where required. Work with team members to address performance issues and ensure they have the support and opportunities to develop to their full capability.

· Represent the supply chain teams across the organisation, communicating and working effectively with other functions (manufacturing, quality, engineering, sales, customer service support and order management), both locally and globally, to meet the business goals.

· Work with strategic EMS supplier, domestics and oversea suppliers to ensure a smooth supply chain management.

Inventory Management

Collaborate with the sales & marketing team to capture right customer demand and review S&OP demand forecast.

Oversee customer demand, stock and supply planning to ensure excellent customer service while maintaining optimum stock level.

Generate supply forecasts/purchase request based on aggregate customer demand in accordance with S&OP and identify optimum levels of inventory availability.

Collaborate with the production teams to develop right inventory management and cost reduction procedures.

Planning

- Material Planning: Lead the whole process of planning from capacity planning, production scheduling to raw material replenishment planning. Proactively manage and expedite shortages by identifying issues and internal problems.

Responsible for the stock planning and replenishment process from demand planning, safety stock /ROP setting, MOQ review to material planning

Manage supply of high-level assemblies from EMS supplier with Kanban management and Pull method.

Coordinate purchasing team to make sure of on time delivery of material.

Generate Production Plans & schedules based on optimum capacity utilization.

Assure timely WO of materials or requested products to support production.

Purchasing Management

Raise purchase order to supplier and monitor lead time based on purchase requisition.

Responsible for supplier performance measurement

Manage purchase price variation and achieve year-on-year material cost reduction

Responsible for global/local sourcing of the material for production, as well as the assigned sourcing project

Participant the NPI project and establish supplier base, maximize the material localization

Oversee customer demand, stock and supply planning to ensure excellent customer service while maintaining optimum stock level.

SAP System

· Effectively deploy SAP system use across the supply chain to ensure the accurate and up to date information to work with.

ISO9001

· Ensure full compliance with existing ISO 9001 procedures and develop new procedures and documentation where required.

Reporting

· Send out reports correctly and on time

Others

· Any other reasonable request to meet the business needs. Being a member of management team, involved in the design and implement new processes to improve supply chain effectiveness.

Person Specification – Essential requirements unless stated

Education / Qualifications:

University degree in Engineering, Commercial, International Trading or Economics or Management. An MBA would be an advantage.

Professional Skills/ Abilities:

7 years working experience. Including 1-2 years Supply Chain/Planning/ stock management.

Experience from relevant industries.

Experience or knowledge on low-volume but high-mix product will be a plus.

Ability to manage projects and multiple priorities.

Familiarity with a manufacturing environment with an understanding of demand/production planning/procurement. Must have good speaking, listening, reading and writing English. Japanese Language will be an advance.

SAP experience in P2P and PL2P. Effective team leader.

Target orientated and track record of successfully working to tight deadlines.
