A Project Management

1 Managing local standardization projects for Manufacturing Engineering (ME) with interdisciplinary teams

and being part of global standardization teams with international and interdisciplinary character

2 Managing the corporate focus groups, which contributes to the development of corporate Processes,

Methods and Tools for Manufacturing Engineering. Taking ownership of PMT topics assigned to this focus

work group

3 Being responsible for the implementation of local PMT-ME pilots

4 Rolling-out corporate Processes, Methods and Tools for standardization of Manufacturing Engineering

within the local PMT-ME cluster (plant or internal factory)

5 Ensuring that PMT standardization is suited to minimize waste, increase transparency and reduce

ambiguity during manufacturing engineering

6 Steering the different Manufacturing Engineers within the plant and ensuring an interdisciplinary working

environment

7 Key support function for local Manufacturing Engineers, including consulting for application of PMT

8 Realizing representation of assigned ME Processes, Methods and Tools in Hella IT systems, e.g. Signavio,

Stages, SAP PPM, NormMaster

9 Continuously analyzing, challenging and improving acceptance and effectiveness of PMT portfolio.

Sending corresponding feedback to global PMT-ME network

10 Realize educational training concepts and creating training material for manufacturing Engineers in

alignment with global PMT-ME network, including onboarding and roll-out of new corporate Processes,

Methods and Tools

11 Training of local Manufacturing Engineers

12 Organizing, moderating, preparing and post-processing meetings and workshops within local PMT-ME

cluster

13 Ensuring that agreed global PMT-ME standards get accomplished

14 Collecting local requirements as well as Lessons Learned and contributing them to the global PMT-ME

network
