The Design Project Manager will be based in Shanghai. This position will lead project team to accomplish a product development on Autonomous driving projects.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Organize, coordinate and manage program issues, schedules and budgets for tier one customer across Asia and US.
• Responsible for tracking relevant metrics and drive action items based on results.
• Provide support, knowledge and expertise with contract negotiations
• Coordinate product life cycle activities with P&L and customer satisfaction
• Maintain current and develop additional business with customers
• Manage all development activities and drive product delivery on time.
• Provide the clear product status update, critical issue deep dive as engineering representative in the core team.
• Identify team priorities & motivate the project team to complete the critical tasks
• Track product cost and control product cost.
• Establish operational objectives and assignments and delegate assignments to subordinate managers.
• Review root cause analysis and provide direction to resolve issues.
• Develop status reports, including project financials, insuring project teams are meeting customer requirements and measuring cost control.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• Min. 5 years PM experience in automation and industry field. 
• B.S. in engineering
• Proven record of leading entire project from Concept to SOP.
• Can communicate with technical and non-technical team members effectively
• Effective communication and people management skills.
• Being able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Familiar with the MS office and Project programs
• Fluent communications in oral and written English language
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – must able to produce high quality proposal /reports to present to customers.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage large teams

• PMP certified is preferred
