The Position
Job Task
1. Propose and align lean manufacturing implementation strategy with management;
2. Edscha Production System(EPS) enhancement with continous improvement in the region;
3. Plan and identify training system required in the region and support the implementation;
4. Identify lean manufacturing techniques required for plant and to prioritize them;
5. Plan and identify resources required to implement lean manufacturing in plant;
6. Plan and deploy lean manufacturing in plant:
6.1. Clearly define lean manufacturing techniques, standards and procedures with the team;
6.2. Train the team on lean manufacturing and to develop the team to be able to train in all levels in the organization;
6.3. Lead the team of Kaizen project in the plant to achieve the targets;
7. Roll out pilot(s) with lean standardization & documentation;
8. Other CIP to support the manufacturing excellance including but not limited to new process developement under guidence;
9. Report to Competence Center manager and execute other work assigned by management.
Required qualification
1. Bachelor degree or above with major of industrial engineering or mechanical engineering;
2. With more than 6 years-experience of planning and implementing lean principles including prefered working experience in HQ or RHQ for 2-3 years.
3. Proven experience of leading a team efficiently;
4. Strong communication skill/interpersonal skills and team spirit;
5. Good command of English, German as a plus.
6. Proficiency with MS Office;
7. Familiar with IATF 16949;
8. Familiar with the plant operation system and business process;
9. Familiar with industrial engineering;
10. With some knowledge of stamping, injection, tube bending, machinining, assembly, process planning and plant layout;
11. With knowledge of CAD, CATIA or other 3D software.
