SonicWall is seeking junior candidate who have at least 1-3 years testing experience in the data communication field. You will participate in Function QA team in shanghai involved in the Functional test, System level test, and automation test of SonicWALL network security products.

The position will be based in Shanghai.

Role Responsibilities:

The candidate will be a member of the Function QA team and responsibilities include:
? Create/Maintain/Execute detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
? Identify, record, document and track bugs.
? Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
? Develop automation scripts or test tools using open source tools is a plus.

Requirements:

Skills/Experiences/Education summary
? Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field with 1- 3 year experience in Quality Assurance and test automation.
? Strong technical background of TCP/IP and Network Security related protocols such as IPSec, HTTPs, VLAN, DHCP, SNMP, Wireless.
? Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux system.
? Master VMware vSphere/vCenter configuration, administration, maintenance.
? Hands-on experience in Cisco/DELL routers/switches configuration.
? Fluent in English.
? Strong technical writing and documentation skillset required.
? Eager to learn. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work well in team environment.
? Know traffic generators such as IXIA, Spirent is a plus.
? Experience in one or more programming languages is preferred, e.g., Python, Ruby, Linux shell, Tcl/Tk, C/C++, Java, etc.
? Experience in Agile/Scrum, Continuous Integration, Jenkins, Git, or DevOps is preferred.
