Responsibilities and Duties

The Functional Excellence Hub Lead within the Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Inc Procurement organization will be responsible for ongoing continuous monitoring activities, controls review and implementation of mitigating controls.  This role will also be responsible to assist the procurement organization with any procurement related processes and systems topics.  This role will be responsible to identify, develop and implement end to end Procurement process improvements based on continuous monitoring, audit findings or the digitalization roadmap.

• Owns major corporate purchasing processes, methods and systems including their continuous improvement and establishing visionary approaches along the “digitalization” initiatives.
• Owns (from business side, in cooperation with solution architects) the development of corporate procurement architecture 
• Represents the procurement function in global improvement projects / programs
• Responsible to monitor all IT change requests within the procurement organization. Ensure all set-up and testing is performed in as necessary with each project. Ensure all system issues are resolved.
• Ensure processes and standards are integrated into and adhering to corporate Integrated Management System (IMS), drive internal audit program
• Support the global S/4 Hana rollout project within the Source to Contract workstream.
• Support various other duties and special projects in support of the department and manager as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently understand use of various systems (SAP ,BPM, Ariba)
• Highly technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Word, Excel, Internet). 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization skills and analytical skills. 
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills, quality and change orientation with initiative and a strong drive for continuous process improvement and eagerness to develop. 
• Typically 5 years of successful experience in related field. 
• BS/BA
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and with a diversified global team.
